The real cost

Most sellers spend on traffic and neglect the page it lands on.

01

The listing is where the ad spend either converts or evaporates.

By the time your advertising has paid to put the product in front of a shopper, the listing has already done — or failed — the most important job: convincing someone who has never held the product that it is worth the money. The ad buys the click. The page has to earn the order.

02

A listing without A+ content converges on the category baseline.

Listings without A+ content sit at the category baseline — the same traffic as everyone else, the same conversion rate, and no way to explain what makes the product different. A+ modules are the only place on the page where the brand gets to answer that question in its own words and its own design.

03

A+ content answers the objections your reviews never get to.

Most of the questions that stop a purchase never reach your reviews — they are the ones the buyer answers by leaving. Sizing, compatibility, what is in the box, how it compares to the cheaper option two rows down. A+ modules are where those objections get answered before they turn into an abandoned cart.

What we design

Amazon A+ content that sells, not just fills the page.

A+ hero and brand story

The first module the buyer sees after the image carousel. Brand story, positioning, and the single clearest reason to choose this product over the one above it in the results.

AaInter · 700 / 600 / 400

Feature and benefit modules

Feature tiles that translate specifications into benefits the buyer actually cares about, in the order they ask about them. Designed to be read in three seconds, not studied.

Comparison charts

Side-by-side charts that position your range against itself — so a buyer who lands on the wrong product finds the right one instead of leaving. The highest-intent module on most listings.

Lifestyle and in-use imagery

Product photography placed in context — scale, use, and who it is for. The module that answers "how big is it actually" without the buyer having to read a dimension table.

Amazon Brand Storefront

A dedicated Amazon mini-site for the brand — hero story, shoppable product navigation, cross-sells, and the design system that holds it together across every sub-page.

Mobile-first module design

More than half of Amazon traffic is mobile, where modules stack and text shrinks. Every module is designed at mobile width first and checked against Amazon module specifications before handover.

How we work

From the brief to the uploaded modules.

  1. 01 Briefing

    Brief and listing audit

Founder interview, audience mapping, and a full audit of the current listing and the four competitors ranking above it. Three working days of structured questions before any design begins.

  2. 02 Discovery

    Module strategy and content plan

Positioning, brand attributes, and a module-by-module content plan — which objection each module answers, in what order, and what imagery it needs. A one-page creative brief you sign off before design starts.

  3. 03 Design

    Three design directions

Three concept directions presented as full A+ page mock-ups — hero module, feature tiles, comparison chart, palette, typography — shown at both desktop and mobile widths.

  4. 04 Application

    Refinement and full module set

The chosen direction expanded across the full module set and every ASIN in the range — consistent brand block, variant differentiation, and cross-sell logic that holds together as the catalogue grows.

  5. 05 Upload-ready

    Export, specs, and upload handover

Every module exported to Amazon specifications, correctly sized and compressed, with alt text written and a written upload order. Delivered ready to upload without a rejection round.

A+ content in the world

One brand, every module the buyer scrolls.

From the hero module to the comparison chart — one system, designed by one team, consistent across every ASIN in the catalogue.

A+ hero and brand story

Designed for the scroll

The module that earns the scroll. Brand story and positioning, designed to be understood before the buyer reaches the fold.

Comparison and feature modules

Designed for the listing

Feature tiles and side-by-side charts that pre-empt the objections, in the order the buyer asks them.

Brand storefront

Designed for the brand

A dedicated brand destination on Amazon — hero story, shoppable navigation, and a proper landing page for advertising campaigns.

Multi-ASIN system

Designed for the catalogue

A module system that holds together across 6, 12, or 50 ASINs — consistent brand, ready to extend.

Client stories

Two product brands. Two different categories.

Meridian Coffee

Amazon US + UK · 2024–2025
The situation

A founder-led specialty coffee brand selling on Amazon US with a generic listing, no A+ content, and no way to explain why the product cost more than the two options ranking above it.

What we did

Designed a five-module A+ page — brand story, four feature tiles, a comparison chart across the range, and a lifestyle module — then extended the system to the brand storefront as the campaign landing page.

The outcome

The A+ launch lifted conversion 11.4% over the prior listing. The comparison module moved a measurable share of traffic from the entry product to the mid-range one, raising average order value without additional advertising spend.

Nordsalt

Amazon UK · DE · NL · 2023
The situation

A pantry brand expanding from one Amazon marketplace into two more, with A+ content written for a single product and no system for extending it across a range.

What we did

Designed a four-ASIN module system with a shared brand block and variant differentiation by colour band, localised for three marketplaces, with a comparison chart that works in all three.

The outcome

All four ASINs live across three marketplaces within 9 weeks of sign-off. The module system has since extended to 8 ASINs without a redesign.

A direct point

Many founders start with DIY templates. Here's why that fails on a listing.

DIY · template-based all look familiar
Designed for one product Dream Steps
Meridian · primary pack
One direction. Considered. Built for the listing.

Templates teach the shopper to skim past you.

Template A+ builders were built to be reusable, which means they were built to look familiar. Familiar is the opposite of memorable on a results page where every competing listing used the same four layouts.

The mobile module is unforgiving in a way the desktop mock-up is not.

A module that looks fine in a desktop preview loses its hierarchy when it stacks on a phone, where most of your buyers actually are. Text that was a caption becomes a paragraph, and the comparison chart becomes a scroll.

The cost of a weak listing is paid in advertising spend.

A weak listing does not sit still — it quietly taxes every click you buy. Advertising spend keeps flowing to a page that converts below what it should, and the gap compounds for as long as the listing stays up.

Frequently asked

Questions about Amazon A+ design

What is Amazon A+ content?

Amazon A+ content replaces the standard product description with rich media modules — brand story sections, comparison charts, lifestyle images, and feature highlights. It is available to brand-registered sellers and consistently increases conversion rates compared to standard listings.

How much does Amazon A+ content design cost?

We do not publish fixed prices because scope varies significantly — number of modules, complexity of content, whether brand guidelines exist. Book a call and we will give you a clear figure in the first conversation.

Do you also design Amazon storefronts?

Yes. We design full Amazon brand storefronts including the homepage, sub-pages, product category sections, and promotional tiles. A storefront gives your brand a dedicated presence on Amazon and supports advertising campaigns with a proper landing destination.

What do you need from us to start?

Your product images and photography, your brand guidelines or logo files, your key selling points and USPs, and any existing A+ content you want us to improve on. We handle the rest.

Can you work to Amazon's content guidelines?

Yes — we follow Amazon’s A+ content policies and module specifications. All content is delivered ready to upload without needing Amazon’s internal review to request changes.

How long does an A+ content project take?

A single product A+ content module set typically takes 5 to 8 working days. A full brand storefront takes 10 to 15 working days. Rush turnarounds are available for time-sensitive launches.
