Engineering for product teams and agencies worldwide

Engineering team for the AI era. Real AI. Real engineering. Built to last.

A 40-person engineering team in Noida, India. We have shipped 1,000+ products since 2015 — and we are building the AI capabilities that make every product we touch ready for the next decade. From RAG systems and agentic workflows to traditional web and mobile builds, with the engineering discipline behind both.

How we engineer in 2026

Most engineering teams build for what was. We build for what is coming.

Three things change a product's trajectory in 2026: a working AI capability, a modernised codebase, and the engineering discipline to keep both running. We do all three because most clients need all three.

01

Modernise what you have

Existing products re-architected for the next decade. Performance, scale, security, AI-readiness. We migrate, refactor, and retune so your team can keep shipping — without rewriting from scratch.

Migrations Refactoring AI-readiness audits
02

Build what is next

Greenfield products with AI as a first-class capability. RAG over your documents, agentic workflows, in-product AI features. With the evaluation discipline that lets you know what is working before it ships to a real user.

03

Ship AI that actually works

Production AI with four named SLOs in the contract: p95 inference latency, cost per task, eval coverage, hallucination rate ceiling. Not demos on cherry-picked inputs. Built by engineers who keep the rest of the system running too.

What we do

Eight capabilities. One engineering team.

AI engineering is the lead capability — everything else is the ten-year engineering tradition behind it. We do not sell services in silos. We diagnose where your product is stuck, then assemble the right combination to move the number that matters.

AI Engineering

RAG systems, agentic workflows, LLM fine-tuning, in-product AI features. Eval-driven from sprint one, named SLOs in the contract, production observability from day one. Real shipped AI — not demos.

Web Platforms

WordPress, Shopify, React/Next.js, Laravel. Marketing sites and product platforms that load fast, rank well, and scale clean. Performance and accessibility as a baseline, not a fix.

React/Next.js WordPress Laravel

Mobile Apps

iOS, Android, React Native, Flutter. Consumer apps, enterprise field-ops, B2B SaaS companions. Crash-free above 99.5%, cold launch under 2 seconds, App Store approval on first submission.

React Native Flutter iOS / Android native

eCommerce & D2C

Shopify, Shopify Plus, headless commerce with Hydrogen, custom Shopify apps. Built for revenue per visitor, not vanity metrics. Multi-region storefronts, subscriptions, A+ content for Amazon.

Brand & Identity

Logo systems, visual identity, voice and tone, brand guidelines that scale from launch to category leadership. Every visual asset is custom — no stock, no shortcuts.

Logo systems Guidelines Rebrands

Product & UI/UX Design

Beautiful is the baseline. Usable is what ships. User research, IA, wireframes, prototypes, visual design, design systems, usability testing. WCAG 2.2 AA as a baseline on every product.

Video & Motion

Brand motion, explainer videos, product demos, hero loops, social cuts, interface motion. Static brand on a moving web is a brand losing ground. Motion is brand voice in time.

White Label & Agency Partner

Roughly 35% of our work runs under another agency's brand. Three partnership models: white-label, agency-of-record, capacity overflow. NDA in place before any work begins.

How we work

A four-step engagement designed for outcomes, not output.

Most agencies sell deliverables. We sell motion — the path from where your business is stuck to where it’s growing. Here’s how we get you there.

Discover

Diagnose what’s really stuck

Real conversations with your team and customers. We map where the money actually leaks and what the next quarter has to look like.

Design

Strategy and design as one motion

Brand, UX, content, and system design — built together, not in a relay. You see the thinking, not just the screens.

Build

Production engineering, owned

Web, mobile, AI, integrations. Tested, measured, documented, and handed over clean. No surprises after launch.

Grow

The site is the start

SEO, performance ads, content, and AI-powered iteration. We stay with you and keep moving the number that matters.

We’re not a web agency.
We’re a growth partner.

The companies who hire us aren’t looking for another vendor. They’re looking for one team that can sit at the table, ask the hard questions, and then go quietly build the answer — in whatever combination of design, technology, and AI it takes.

Design

Design that earns trust on first scroll

Every brand we touch goes out feeling premium, considered, and clearly the more serious option in the room.

Technology

Engineering that scales after you stop watching

Code reviewed, tests written, infrastructure documented. Built so your team can pick it up the day we hand it over.

AI

AI that does the work, not the demo

Shipped LLM features, automation, and agents already live in production for clients — not slides and prototypes.

What clients say

The compliment we hear most: “They acted like a co-founder.”

Quotes from founders, marketing leaders, and operators we’ve worked with over the last decade.

Dream Steps didn’t act like an agency. They acted like a co-founder. They pushed us on the things that mattered, shipped what they said they would, and the new site is doing the work three salespeople used to.

Where is Dream Steps based and what countries do you work with?

Dream Steps is based in Noida, India, with an active client base across the UK, United States, Ireland, Australia, Germany, the Netherlands, and the UAE. The company was founded in 2015 and has been working with international clients since year one — we work in your timezone, communicate entirely in English, and have senior team members available across UK and US business hours.

What's the difference between Dream Steps and a UK or US-based agency?

The biggest practical difference is that you get senior people on every project, not handed off to junior account managers. Most UK and US agencies of comparable scope structure their teams with senior pitching, junior delivery — we structure ours with senior delivery throughout. We work in your timezone with overlap hours, communicate entirely in English, and you have direct access to the founder on the project. The output quality and process are calibrated to the same brief as a UK or US agency would deliver — we measure ourselves against Webflow, Stripe, and Linear-level work, not regional benchmarks.

Can you handle both design and development in one project?

Yes — and this is one of the most common reasons clients work with us. Brand identity, website design, web application development, mobile apps, AI integrations, and digital marketing are all delivered by senior teams under one roof, with one relationship and one point of accountability. You don't brief four different agencies, manage handoffs between them, or pay project-management overhead three times over. The same team that designed the brand can ship the website on top of it.

What does AI integration actually mean for a small or medium business?

AI integration means adding intelligence to the parts of a business that are currently manual, slow, or inconsistent. In practice that looks like automating customer follow-ups, building smarter lead routing or booking systems, connecting tools so data flows automatically across them, or adding an AI assistant that answers client questions around the clock. We start by understanding the actual business problem first, then identify where AI saves real time and money — not where it sounds impressive. The reliable starting points are usually customer support, content workflows, and internal operations.

How much does a website or digital project cost?

The cost depends on the scope, the complexity, and the level of customisation — and there are honest answers for every band. A professional WordPress or Shopify website is a focused engagement; a custom web application or mobile app is a larger one; an AI integration is scoped on the specific workflow. We are transparent about cost on the first call — you will get a clear written proposal within two working days of the discovery call, with scope, timeline, and team named, before you commit to anything.

How long does a typical project take?

A professional website typically takes 4–8 weeks from sign-off to launch. A mobile app usually takes 10–16 weeks. A brand identity project takes 6–10 weeks. A custom web application is scoped individually depending on complexity — most fall between 8 and 20 weeks. We give a realistic timeline before the project starts and track it transparently in the project plan. If we miss a delivery date, we absorb it; if the client misses a review deadline, the timeline shifts day-for-day, but with no surprises.

What's the difference between hiring a freelancer, a small agency, and Dream Steps?

A senior freelancer is best for a single focused deliverable — a logo, a landing page, a specific feature — where one experienced person can hold the whole brief. A small agency is best when you need 2–3 capabilities together — design plus development, or marketing plus content. Dream Steps is best when the project spans multiple disciplines (brand, web, mobile, AI, marketing) and you want a single team accountable for the whole journey. The rough threshold: if your project needs more than three distinct capabilities, a single-roof team almost always outperforms stitched-together vendors on cost, timeline, and consistency.

Do you offer white label services for agencies?

Yes — we operate as the delivery partner behind several UK and US agencies, working fully under their brand. Design, web development, mobile app development, and AI integration delivered with their account team in front and ours behind. Most of our white-label relationships are multi-year, because the agencies use us to extend their capacity, win larger projects than they could deliver alone, and protect their margins. Senior account manager on the agency side, senior delivery team on ours.

What makes Dream Steps different from other agencies?

Three things, ranked by the order our clients themselves cite them in reviews. First, we diagnose before we prescribe — we understand the business problem before we talk about deliverables, which means the work is right the first time more often than not. Second, we cover the full spectrum from brand to AI under one roof, so nothing gets lost in translation between suppliers. Third, we are long-term partners — our longest client relationships are over five years — because we are trying to earn the next project, not close the current one.

How do I get started with Dream Steps?

The first step is a free 30-minute discovery call. No sales pitch and no junior account manager — a direct conversation with a senior team member (often Vikas himself on new projects) about the business problem you are trying to solve. You will leave the call with a clear view of what we would recommend, roughly what it would take, and what we would not take on. A written proposal follows within two working days if you want to take it further. Book directly from the button below, or email info@thedreamsteps.com.
